On 16 April 2026, partners of the SEQ Elevate: Skills for the Future project met online for their 2nd Transnational Project Meeting (TPM), continuing their collaborative journey to support NEET young people in developing social and emotional skills essential for the future and the labour market.
The meeting brought together all consortium members (Pro Arbeit, DIESIS Network, University of Macedonia, and SYNTHESIS) to review the progress achieved during the first months of the project and to align on the next steps ahead, by reflecting on key achievements, identified challenges, and discussed areas for improvement, reinforcing a shared commitment to delivering high-quality and impactful outcomes.
Discussions began with key updates on project management, including monitoring processes and the completion of important milestones under Work Package 2 (WP2), such as the completion of all research activities and the development of key outputs, such as the Transnational Research Report and the establishment of a methodological framework for the Social and Emotional Skills (SEQ) Learning Model, providing clear guidelines and methodologies for implementing social and emotional skills development within the social economy context.
Building on this, partners exchanged perspectives on the co-design approach, drawing from the outcomes of the national Collaboration Forums conducted virtually during February and March 2026 that engaged social economy practitioners, career counsellors, and NEET youth in validating the research findings and key insights emerging from WP2 research activities. These discussions highlighted the importance of stakeholder engagement and ensured that the project continues to respond effectively to the real needs of its target groups.
A key highlight of the meeting was the collaborative session on the development of the SEQ Elevate Digital Tool (under WP3). Based on insights from the WP2 research activities, partners engaged in a dynamic brainstorming process to shape the digital tool’s structure, architecture, and learning content, as well as to define the next steps for its development, technically speaking and with emphasis on its main pedagogical aspects.
