SEQ Elevate Kick-off in Dreieich, Germany

The SEQ Elevate project officially kicked off on 8–9 September 2025 in Dreieich, Germany, hosted and organized by the project coordinator Pro Arbeit – Kreis Offenbach (AöR) – Kommunales Jobcenter. The meeting brought together representatives from Germany, Greece, Belgium and was also attended by all project partners: SYNTHESIS, Diesis Network, and the University of Macedonia.

Day 1 of our KOM (08.09.2025) focused on introductions, partner roles, and detailed planning of project activities. After a warm coffee reception and welcome remarks, the partners presented their organizations and discussed roles and responsibilities across the project’s work packages:

  • WP1: Project Management and Quality Assurance – Pro Arbeit & SYNTHESIS
  • WP2: The First Step: SEQ Methodology through Co-Design – University of Macedonia
  • WP3: The SEQ Gamified Digital Tool – Diesis
  • WP4: The SEQ Living Labs – Pro Arbeit
  • WP5: Communication, Dissemination & Sustainability – SYNTHESIS

The day concluded with a guided sightseeing tour of Dreieichenhain, offering partners a chance to network in an informal setting.

On the second day (09.09.2025), partners continued discussions focused on project governance, coordination, and next steps, ensuring alignment on work plan implementation and collaboration strategies. The meeting concluded with closing remarks and lunch before partners departed.

The kick-off meeting concluded successfully and provided a strong foundation for collaboration, planning, and coordination among all partners. With roles clarified, timelines set, and activities planned, the SEQ Elevate consortium is ready to begin its mission of empowering NEET youth through innovative learning approaches, social-emotional skills development, and enhanced employability opportunities for a more inclusive future.
